Rebeka Tabobondung is the founder and editor-in-chief of MUSKRAT Magazine, a leading online national Indigenous arts and culture magazine. Rebeka is a documentary filmmaker, poet, and community-based Indigenous knowledge and oral history researcher. Rebeka is an MA graduate in Sociology & Equity Studies in Education. Her documentary work has screened at festivals across Canada and internationally, while her written works have been published in numerous journals and anthologies. Rebeka’s latest research and film work documents traditional birth knowledge from Wasauksing First Nation where she is also a member. She is currently a research associate with the Well Living House, an Indigenous Action Research Centre based at St. Michael’s Hospital.
